Do you have a Master's degree or higher in the field of public health, epidemiology (including environmental, parasite, and veterinary epidemiology and related studies), biostatistics, bioinformatics, and applied mathematics?

Do you have specialised training in malaria and other infectious disease control programmes?

Do you have specialised training in quantitative data analysis?

Are you currently engaged in any other academic or capacity building programme?

Are you currently affiliated to a Nigerian public, private, non-profit or non-governmental institution working in One Health – human health, animal health, and environment?

Do you have at least 5 year's professional experience?

If selected, will your institution be willing to officially release you for the scheduled physical training (2 months) sessions in FCT Abuja?

Do you belong to any of the following categories?

Post-Docs and Junior Lecturers in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, working in universities, non-profit, and non-governmental organisations

Public Health/Community Medicine Resident Doctors in Training, including those affiliated with non-profit and non-governmental organisations

Data management specialists from the Malaria programme, National Stop Transmission of Polio cohorts, Rapid Response Teams, or other emergency preparedness and response teams, including those in non-profit and non-governmental organisations

Monitoring and Evaluation staff with expertise in quantitative data analysis, working in Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), as well as in non-profit and non-governmental organisations, working across the One Health ecosystem

Public health officers, biostatisticians and epidemiologists working in public, non-profit and non-governmental organisations

Do you possess the following skills?

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel

Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English

Demonstrable problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

Applicants are expected to provide information on their intended research areas during application.
Every applicant that successfully meets the eligibility criteria will be required to pass baseline aptitude test on 26th July 2025 as requisite for admission to this fellowship
